Mr. Easom has over 35 years of Healthcare experience that has provided an unparalleled familiarity with all aspects of the healthcare delivery system. Having started as a clinician, he rapidly advanced through the hospital operations into Home Healthcare, expanding his portfolio into Sales and Marketing of Medical Products and Equipment, and ultimately into Medical Device Manufacturing & Supply Chain Operations.

Most recently Mr. Easom was an Officer and held the position of Executive Vice President of Global Business Development & International Operations with Vital Signs, Inc., which became a GE Healthcare Company. 

 Having joined the company in 1999, he remained with Vital Signs throughout the GE acquisition.  During his tenure, responsibilities included management of the Sales & Marketing staff, managing and directing all international activities with manufacturers & distributors, presiding over the R&D and New Product Opportunities Committees, and identifying and developing business opportunities for Vital Signs core and subsidiary businesses worldwide. Mr. Easom engineered numerous successful acquisitions for Vital Signs such as Breas, Sleep Services of America, Southern Sleep Technologies, Baxter’s Airway Management Division, Enginivity/Enflo, and Shenzhen KTL medical manufacturing in China to name a few.

 In addition to his managerial functions within the organization, Mr. Easom was on the Board of Directors of two Vital Signs subsidiaries; Sleep Services of America, a diagnostic sleep laboratory company with 80 locations and Shenzhen Vital Signs KTL Medical Devices, a Chinese manufacturing operation that was critical to the continued operations of Vital Signs.

Mr. Easom was instrumental in orchestrating the acquisition of Vital Signs by GE Healthcare, having negotiated a 40% premium over the trading price. This business was sought after and successfully acquired by Carefusion, which in recent history has been acquired by Becton-Dickinson.

 Prior to joining Vital Signs, Mr. Easom held Senior VP positions with Foster Medical (Div. of Avon) & Glasrock Home Healthcare (Div. of BOC), both home medical equipment companies. He served as an Executive VP with Health Planning & Development, a strategic planning and business development company; and worked with Affinity Ventures, a Healthcare Merger & Acquisitions company. Preceding his entry into the medical business world Mr. Easom worked at 2 major Medical Centers in New Jersey, as a Respiratory Therapy clinician and later as a multi-department director/administrator.

Mr. Easom holds a BS and MBA from Montclair State University, and is a Degreed and Credentialed Respiratory Care Professional. He sits on the Board of Directors of a local Boys & Girls Club of America; and the Economic Development Board and Citizens Liaison Committee of his local city Government.
